General Information
The 12th annual Fine Art in Brentwood Show and Sale is just around the corner. As the date nears, our level of excitement and anticipation grows! We are truly honored and excited that you will be participating this year. All co-chairs and volunteers are working diligently to make sure that you have an enjoyable and profitable three days so please read all instructions.
Dates and Hours of the show are:
Friday, November 30th 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Saturday, December 1st 10:00am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, December 2nd 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Artists Assistant: Each artist has been assigned an artist assistant to help you answer any questions that you may have. Your assistant will call you before the show to acquire your arrival time on Friday, November 30th so that she can help you move your items into your booth. Please remember to come any time AFTER 9:00 am. You must be completely finished setting up by 3:00 pm. Please note that you are responsible for arranging the display of your booth.
We have 71 artists this year. Visitors to our show enjoy meeting the artists and talking with you. Since you are your own best salesperson, please plan to be present in our booth throughout the show.
Tax-Exempt Form: You are required to sign a tax-exempt form that releases you from charging tax on your art work. This form will be available for you to sign at check in on Friday, November 30th.
Insurance: Each artist is responsible for securing their own insurance. Brentwood Academy does not provide any coverage for your products or goods.
Early Sales: We want all of our customers to have an equal opportunity to purchase art work. In order to guarantee this, we request that no white slips be given out until the show opens at 5:30 pm on Friday, November 30th. There may be browsers before this time, but no sales.
Approval Policy: For your benefit, as well as the benefit of all our customers, we respectfully request that art work should not be taken out on approval before 7:30 pm on Friday night and should be returned by 9:30 am Saturday morning. On Saturday, art work can be taken out on approval in 2 hour intervals and between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 on Sunday.
Invitations: approximately 8000 invitations will be mailed to residents of Middle Tennessee and former customers the week of November 6th. If you wish to ask family and friends that may not be on our list, please make sure you e-mail that list to Leah Hoskins at leah_hoskins@brentwoodacademy.com.
Important Artist Meeting: We will hold a mandatory Artist Meeting with all artists for 10 – 15 minutes at 4:45 pm, Friday, November 30th in the Black Box Theater prior to dinner. Please plan to be present.
